Principals Weekly Letter

October 25th, 2024

I wanted to get my weekly letter out earlier this morning so I could get one last Pumpkin Fest reminder in as well as some of the regular Friday information!

In preschool this week I was greeted with lots of high fives and hugs.  I also saw story time and weather reporting.  Kindergarteners were working on the letter M.  First graders focus sound for the week was short u.  I heard rhyming words like mug, bug, and tug.  Second graders were studying verbs and high frequency words.  3rd graders had a Monday morning meeting where they shared their highs and lows.  4th graders started the week off with some singing and learned a new worship song.  5th graders worked on a SOAP journal during Faith class.  S.O.A.P. is Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer.  6th graders were learning about the effects of altitude on weather and pressure systems.  7th graders learned about the political process during the 2nd presidential election.  8th graders lent a helping hand in helping get lots of things ready for Pumpkin Fest 2024!
