This week at ELS
This short week just flew by! The highlight of the week was definitely the FUN RUN! Thanks to all of you this has been another success. CLICK HERE if you would like to see recordings of all runs. As I write this letter, we are currently at $48,446 with near 70% participation. The donation window will close February 27th at 3:00pm. I am 100% confident we will reach our goal for the 5th year in a row!! Thanks again to Mr. B, Ms. Sherri, Ms. Jordynn, and Healthy Kids FUN RUN for another successful event!
In the news this week, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders went to an event at the MACC. Kindergarteners were having a blast at PE with Uncle Malik. 2nd graders did some partner reading during Language Arts. 1st graders worked hard for Ms. Rebecca as Mrs. Sjostrand was able to cheer on her son Keahi (former ELS student) at the state basketball tournament. 6th graders were multiplying and dividing fractions. 7th graders discussed issues that led to the Civil War and learned how to do it in text citations. 8th graders started new geometry units and learned about the congruence that exists when parallel lines are intersected by a transversal. Just another week at ELS!!
Re-Enroll ASAP for 2025-2026 School Year
We have started testing New Applicants for 1st - 8th grade. We still have some space available but we anticipate numerous classes being full before we leave for Spring Break. If you haven’t fully completed your application, please do so to ensure your spot for the 2025-2026 school year.
Chapel Offerings
Our offerings for the 3rd quarter are over $430. In addition, Emmanuel Lutheran Church has taken some free will donations (total do date almost $700) and will give their quarterly mission pledge ($1000) to the Pacific Southwest District. Altogether we hope to send over $2000 to help those who have lost so much . Thank you for your support!

Morning Drop Off
Thank you again for your help. The upper lanai is looking much better with students using the sidewalks or simply not walking through the dirt.
Open House
Thank you to the many families who gave recommendations for the Open House. We had a nice turnout and are excited to have some new families enroll. It was a total team effort. Staff, students, and parents all pitched in to make the event a success. We will continue for years to come!
Have a Blessed Weekend!
Mr. Rempfer
